The Black Leather Café Racer
The café racer earns its keep by leaving things out — no lapels, no flaps, no noise. This men’s black leather café racer jacket is 100% real lambskin, cut slim with a stand mandarin collar and a single front zip, so the whole piece reads as one clean line. Black makes the minimalism look like intent rather than absence. It layers under a coat in the cold and stands on its own the rest of the year, quietly sharpening whatever it’s over. Spend once and wear it for years — a design this pared-back never dates.
Provenance
Handcrafted in Decrum’s own workshop and sold direct — maker-to-wardrobe, without the retail markup a café racer jacket like this usually carries. We’ve built leather this way since 2015: real hide, honest construction, no faux and no shortcuts. You pay for the lambskin and the hands that shaped it, not the names in between.
The Material
100% genuine lambskin, the right hide for a slim jacket that has to sit close without feeling like a cast. Soft and light from the first wear, it breaks in further rather than breaking down, taking on the faint sheen and fold-lines of a jacket that genuinely gets used. That patina is earned, not printed — it looks better the more you reach for it.
The Cut
A slim café racer silhouette that follows the torso and stops clean at the waist — no bulk, no flare. The mandarin collar keeps the neckline low and modern, while the front zip and four zip pockets — two chest, two side — hold the minimal, functional look together. A smooth polyester lining lets it move over a tee or a fine knit without dragging.
How It’s Worn
Over a white tee and dark denim for the cleanest version of itself; over a roll-neck when the temperature drops. Black is the whole point here — it makes a simple jacket look deliberate and sits with everything you’d already reach for.
